Suitable for:

HELITE Electronic Turtle2 Airbag Vest

HELITE Electronic H-MOOV Backpack

The fork sensor fits all tubular conventional forks and tubular inverted forks! For inverted forks, the sensor has to be installed on the upper part of the fork! It will not fit the BMW K1600 & Honda Goldwing

KEY FEATURES:

The HELITE fork sensor is an optional feature and does not have to be used in order for your Electronic Airbag Vest/Backpack to function.

The Fork Sensor is highly recommended for road use as the detection of impact time is significantly reduced. The device allows detection of more accidents overall including those at low speed and when stationary.

You may choose not to use the fork sensor on the track for example as less accidents happen at low speed and collisions with another vehicle or an obstacle are rare.

The fork sensors do not require charging as they have 5 years autonomy.

Pairing your Vest/Backpack with the Fork Sensor:

Before using your vest for the first time you need to pair (associate) the Vest/Backpack with the Fork Sensor.

It is possible to pair several fork sensors (maximum of 5) with one Vest/Backpack.

Similarly, it is possible to pair numerous Vests/Backpacks to one Fork Sensor.

For full information on how to pair sensors and vests please see the instruction manual supplied with your vest.

    Sensor for E-Turtle 2

Posted by Alan on 27th Aug 2024

I'm glad the fork sensor finally became available in the U.S., as it helps provide an added layer of protection with added sensitivity and even further
    reducing the fast response time.
Once activated, it was easily mounted to the fork of my Honda. I'm grateful for the added piece of mind.

    Helite Fork Sensor

This unit pairs easily with the E Turtle Electronic vest. It is a straight forward install and provides vest deployment at speeds less than 22 km. where the vest was lacking.

    Works instantly with my backpack

Sync up to my helite backpack easily. The only issue would be battery changes, whether it is possible.

    Fork Sensor

Posted by Mark on 19th Aug 2024

I own both the Turtle 2 and the eTurtle. I have been waiting for the fork sensor to be released in the USA for quite some time and once it was announced, I purchased one. The instructions need to be updated to reflect an installation on inverted forks, which is what I have on my bike. Other than that the parts needed are included. I do worry that if I decide to do a wheelie now and again, the sensor may/will deploy my vest.
