Peace of mind
I am replacing the tethered version of this vest. No complaints about the tether other than the slight inconvenience and comfort difference of being tied to the bike. Ultimately I do trust a tether more than a battery connected to electronics. The E-turtle is more comfortable and convenient. I can hop on & off without dealing with a tether. I believe that the E-Turtle will activate more quickly in the event of a crash. The slight drawbacks are that I do trust the tethered activation more. Also, the power button for the E-Turtle lacks feel through the vest and I find myself unzipping the compartment to turn the vest on & off. Overall, the benefits outweigh any drawbacks.

My reluctancy dissipated once I factored in how important my physical health would be impacted after a crash but if I can lesson the damage drastically which this airbag provides I'm in and not including my riding confidence has increased (Solid Buy!).
